Planning Digital Content
Tinopolis Cymru - Pawb a'i Farn
The client
Tinopolis Cymru is the largest producer of Welsh language content in the UK, based in Llanelli. They produce mainly Welsh language content for broadcasters including S4C. Their slate of programmes includes Heno, Prynhawn Da, Ralio and Pawb a'i Farn.
Pawb a'i Farn is a long-running Welsh language political discussion programme where the general public get an opportunity to hold politicians to account and ask their burning political questions.
The brief
We were asked to support Tinopolis and their production Pawb a'i Farn with planning for digital content to 1) promote their new series; 2) engage fans on a deeper level and 3) reach new audiences. The aim was to come away with a strong digital content plan to coincide with the next series of Pawb a'i Farn, drawing on great examples from similar series worldwide, best practice and what works in the Welsh language.
What we did
We held an interactive workshop for the small production team, focusing on ideation and how to create simple, effective and shareable social media content which resonates with the target audience and invites engagement.
We spent time with the production team reviewing the previous season's social media content together, looking at what worked, what didn't, and brainstorming ideas for the next series rooted in proven strategies for optimised and shareable digital content.
